What's New in Version 3.5?

• Employment and Residential Lands Inventory and Querying Capabilities - Employment Lands and Residential Lands inventory thematic layers have been added to view the market status of lands and run queries against the data. 
• More Parcel Information - The parcel report now includes planned land use status and employment or residential market status. 
• 2008 Photo Imagery - Access to photo imagery of San Diego.

• Thematic Layers - Get information about land designated for public land ownership, existing land use, and planned land use. 

• Statistical Summary - Get basic demographic information (population and housing) for an area around any point on the map.
• Additional Parcel Information- The parcel report includes existing landuse and ownership information. 

• Address Look-Up- Locate an address. 
• Multi-Unit Parcel Report- The parcel report can provide parcel information for multiple condo units on a single parcel. 

• Zoom In/Out- A single click on the map with the zoom in/out buttons re-centers the map and zooms in or out by a fixed proportion. 
• Zoom to City or Plan Areas - Zoom-to feature that sets the map to a selected area, such as a jurisdiction or plan area. 
• New Layer - We've added the 40 ft. elevation contours, which turns on at scales larger than 1" = 4,000 feet', due to the requests from our beta user group in addition to the 200 ft. elevation contours, which displays at scales smaller than 1" = 4,000' feet and larger than 1" = 20,000' feet. 

• Mapping Controls - "Hands on" navigation tools allow user to pan and zoom by means of mouse drags as well as clicks. 
• Legend Tab - The legend appears on its own tab. 
• New Layer - We've added Tribal Lands. 
• Print Map - A new print function combines map and legend into a unified display ready for the printer. 

Bug Reports

• Some Assessor's Parcel Numbers entered did not display the selected parcel. Fixed 11/8/2007
• Fix the zoom buttons so that a single click on the map re-centers the map and zooms in/out by a fixed proportion. Fixed 12/6/2007
• Sometimes when certain parcels are clicked the refreshed map may apply a zoom to the completely differenct area. -Fixed 8/20/2009
• Known issue with display of photo imagery specifically zoomed to the city of Santee. A white horizontal line will show across the map. The temporary work around is to use the pan tool to shift the map a bit and the refreshed map will not display the white line.
